HUS 530 is a broad overview of the management and leadership challenges of the human service sector. 

 

Course content is designed for students who not only plan to lead human services organizations, but participate on boards of directors.  This course examines the history and scope of the human services sector, the need for human services, contemporary theories of nonprofit and profit enterprise, governance and leadership, ethics, social entrepreneurship, and new decision-making models.
